The hallways at the John Paulding School abound with creativity with bulletin boards decorated by teachers and their students.
Some are covered brightly with spring motifs and others teach valuable lessons about being kind and compassionate and spreading cheer and goodwill. Students used paints and tissue paper and photos to bring their boards to life.
Mary Jo Daley’s bulletin board pays tribute to nurse Cindy Curran who is retiring after 29 years in the District. Students interviewed Mrs. Curran utilizing a technique – K, W, L. They discussed what they know about their school nurse, what they want to know and what they learned. Their impressions make you smile: She gives me band-aids, she gives me ice when I get hurt.
